The 38th Annual G.O.L.F. Classic, sponsored by DRN ReadiTech, was yet another successful one, with 134 golfers participating in the tournament. Held July 13-14, the tournament showcased exceptional talent across three divisions: men’s, women’s and seniors.
In the men’s division, Todd Thompson of Cogswell, ND secured the victory with a score of 148. He took home the men’s division trophy and a cash prize of $100. Rory Gentzkow of Fargo, ND was the runner-up with a score of 154. He took home a cash prize of $90.
In the women’s division, Jordaan Larson of Milnor, ND clinched the championship title with a score of 177. She took home the prize of the women’s division trophy. Holly Ricker of Minneapolis, MN was the runner-up with a score of 193. She took home a cash prize of $50.
Curt Young of Berlin, ND dominated the senior division with a score of 162. He took home a prize of a trophy and $50 cash. Jeff Williams of Streeter, ND secured second place with a score of 169. He took home a cash prize of $50.
In total, the tournament this year included 37 individuals across the three divisions who either took home a trophy and/or a cash prize.
The tournament spanned four picturesque courses in Southeast North Dakota:
- Grand Rapids Memorial Park Country Club
- Oakes Golf Club
- Lisbon Bissell Golf Course
- Forman Golf Course
